It depends on the house rather than the number of people. As a starting point, published NZ box counts put a 1-bedroom move at around 25 boxes, a 3-bedroom house at around 40, and a 4-bedroom house at around 55. Our calculator adjusts that for your kitchen, books, hanging clothes and how much you are getting rid of.

No delivery price is published yet, because we are still setting our courier rates and would rather show nothing than a figure we cannot honour. When it is set, you will see the price for your address before you pay, rural addresses included.

Yes. Boxes are sold in 10-packs by size, and wardrobe boxes, tape, paper and bubble wrap are all available separately.

Yes, they are new flat-packed cartons. We do not make any claim about where they are made or what they are made from until we have that in writing from the supplier.

Unused, unassembled boxes can be returned within 30 days. You pay the return freight and we refund on receipt. If something arrives damaged or missing, that is on us and we replace or refund it at our cost, as the Consumer Guarantees Act requires.

Sometimes, and we say so on our guide to where to get moving boxes. Free boxes cost you time, they come in mismatched sizes that do not stack, and produce boxes are often damp. If you have spare evenings and a car, they are a genuine option.

We are not taking payment yet. We are finalising a carton supplier and courier rates, and until both are real we will not publish a price or accept an order. Leave your email and we will tell you when kits ship.

Yes. Rural delivery costs more than an urban address and takes longer, so it is priced separately and shown to you before you pay rather than added afterwards.

We are not publishing transit times until we have a courier account and have measured them. Any number we gave you now would be a guess.

No. A flat-packed kit for a three or four bedroom house is several parcels, because couriers cap individual items by weight and size. They may not all arrive on the same day.
