Moving boxes in Auckland
Auckland moves are usually short in distance and long in stairs. Most of what makes a move hard here is access: a shared driveway, a body-corporate lift booking, or a villa with a flight up to the front door.

Can you get moving boxes delivered to Auckland?
Yes. We deliver everywhere in New Zealand, and Auckland sits in delivery zone A. We have not published our rates yet, so there is no number to quote you here. The delivery page says why, and what other New Zealand sellers currently charge while we get ours set.
Where can you hire moving crates in Auckland?
If you are moving locally and would rather not deal with cardboard at all, crate hire is a real alternative: Kiwi Renta Box and Handy Crates cover Auckland. Crates go back at the end of the move, so there is nothing to get rid of afterwards. We are not paid by any of them.

What do you do with the cardboard afterwards in Auckland?
Auckland Council asks that you flatten packing boxes before they go in the recycling bin, and keep pieces larger than 10 × 14cm so they do not fall through the sorting screens. Do that and the cardboard goes out with your kerbside recycling rather than to landfill. It is the last job of the move.

Which kits do we deliver to Auckland?
All three kits go to Auckland: the 1–2 bedroom kit with 26 boxes, the 3 bedroom kit with 42 boxes and the 4–5 bedroom kit with 58 boxes, each with tape, paper and a marker. The calculator will tell you which one fits your house.
